How much do moorings cost?
Our price structure is really simple. Mooring fees at Rotherham and Sheffield Canal Association are £2 per foot, per month. The only extra charge is a membership fee to the Association (£10 per year).
We can only provide all of this at such an affordable cost because everyone comes together at social events, like work parties, to help maintain the site.
How does this compare to Canal and River Trust mooring fees?
As of July 2020, a leisure mooring for a 57’ boat in Tinsley Marina (on a short finger pontoon) costs in excess of £2,500.
By mooring with us you could save £1,000.
As well as a lot more flexibility and freedom, we think that’s a pretty good deal.
